The Almas

...caught red handed again! This bowl has been in my family for at least 70 years - it was the bowl that my grandma made stuffing in for Thanksgiving.

The sticks used in this sculpture came from a Blue Man Group concert.

This was one of the original flowers I found that started The Almas. It was my second creation after Tango.

The Almas - (ahl maz)
Almas live in a land called Imajin - it is one of the nations under Ghad.
In many languages alma means 'soul' and each of these have their own soul and story. Hover over the pictures or click to discover what makes them ...well... them:)
Each Alma is made of clay and found objects. They average about 24 inches by 24 inches and weigh a ton! Well... maybe not that much, but the lightest one weighs in at 50 pounds.
